WANTED: sweet and cozy home for one in Ladysmith, British Columbia

Hello. I am looking for a sweet and cozy home for myself (62 yrs young woman, no pets). Somewhere between North Duncan and Chemainus/Saltair. I don't need a big space (studio or small 1 bdr is fine). but I would like a clean and light-filled space. My home is important to me ...I lead a wholesome and simple lifestyle, I still work, but spend a lot of time at home and I like it to be a beautiful and peaceful place. Some privacy and an outdoor space would be wonderful. I love nature and I have gardened for many years. I am a quiet, respectful and responsible tenant. NS/NP. I can supply references.
Access to laundry facilities is also appreciated. I would like to move by Aug 1, or possibly sooner. My top price is $750 all inclusive. I am open to a partial work exchange if necessary.
