Looking for a room to rent in the Greater Victoria area; including View Royal, Langford, Saanich and if there is a bus route nearby I would accept Sooke as well.
Looking for ALL INCLUSIVE; including Hydro, Internet/WiFi (high speed), and laundry facilities. I would appreciate a bedframe and CLEAN mattress in the bedroom, if there is not one available, that is OK too. I own a computer desk.
I am a 51-year-old female, (recent pic attached) and I work from home on the computer & Internet, working for several Independent authors, by proofreading & editing for them.
I do not own a vehicle, so I would need to rely on BC Transit to get around, on a bus route or close to one is ideal.
I currently live in Ladysmith, where I have been for over 2.5yrs, but I am finding it quite limiting since there is nothing much to do locally without a vehicle.
My 23yr-old daughter lives in Langford and I want to be closer to her, within the Greater Victoria area.
While I can be social, I am also VERY quiet (I spend a fair amount of time working on the computer in my bedroom and reading for work), I'm an exceptionally neat and organized person, and extremely respectful of other people, both their personal/private space and lives.
I do not drink alcohol, I don't smoke (I'm allergic actually), and I definitely don't do any drugs!
I no longer have any pets, but I am also not allergic to any.
Interests: Reading (of course), Photography, Computers, Gardening, Cooking, Listening to multiple genres of music (No Rock/Heavy Metal/Rap), When I have time; watching streaming movies/TV shows
