Collector's Item BMW in Ladysmith, British Columbia for sale

Recent full front brake job with new high quality rotors & pads. The rear brakes were serviced but they still have 50% shoes left and new brake fluid all around. Also, it just had a change of oil filter, engine oil, new gear and also final drive oil. All these oils were high quality synthetic. Front and rear tires have very little wear. It includes both hard side cases and top cases which all lock. It is equipped with heated grips that work great and it also has a power socket to give the battery a slow charge or to plug in an inverter, heated clothing or whatever else you might need. This bike was rebuilt, restored and commercially inspected with all documents available. It is a three cylinder 740cc bike with fuel injection. It has the original tool kit and flat tire repair kit. At some point, in the last two years, it received a new battery, radiator fluid/maintenance, clutch work, fork seal and oil, clutch work, alternator maintenance and plenty of mechanical and cosmetics detail work. The dash displays a trip odometer, clock, low gas light, gear selected and the signal lights can be cancelled manually or automatically as well. It has a voluminous gas tank. Most of these bikes still have their original mufflers which are very quiet. It is not that hard to find parts for these bikes on-line on the proper sites from other BMW riders. Although I adore it, I need money for school and for travel so I now have to sell my BMW so I can buy a smaller dual purpose bike as I like to go more off road than on road now. I still have a bit of the new paint in can and spray formats so as to keep it nicely detailed. The mileage is now 67,000 Km. The splines were checked and lubed fifteen thousand kilometers ago and they were in awesome shape. I have ridden these bikes for 14 years and perhaps a change of bike will excite me again about riding. It just received a new Hagon rear shock from the UK (not shown is pictures). Just lowered the price for the last time and this price is firm. Note that you cannot put collector's plates on this bike unless you repaint it one of the original colours for that year. It is insured and can be ridden for a test drive. I use it for work and school transportation right now.
